Prize: Three (3) Grand Prizes will be awarded, as follows: The winning Entrant will receive $500, awarded as a check, the Teacher who is the subject of the winning Entry will receive a one (1) year supply of Duck Brand product, awarded as Duck Tape Product with an ARV of $1,000 and the school district or entity responsible for the management and administration of the school in which the Teacher teaches (“School”) will receive a $5,000 donation, awarded as a check. The total ARV of all prizes is $19,500. All federal, state, and local income taxes for acceptance and use of the prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner (including the Entrant, Teacher and School). Limit one (1) prize per Entrant. Prize components are in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. For recipients of prize elements greater than $599, a 1099 tax statement will be filed with the IRS for the actual total value of the prize and the 1099 form will be sent to the winner via U.S. Mail, to be processed in the year in which they receive the prize.
Eligibility: Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 U.S. and D.C., who, as of date of entry, are 18 years of age or older (“Entrant”). Eligible teachers must be currently employed as a teacher or teaching assistant in either pre-school, day care, or grades K-12; including home schools, in a school district that is an accredited operating public, private, religious, charter and after school/community program or a home school arrangement in compliance with home school education requirements in the state in which the Entrant resides, located within the 50 U.S. and D.C., as defined by the U.S. Department of Education (“Teacher”). Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Shurtape Technologies, LLC (the “Sponsor”), their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors, and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively the “Sponsor and its Administrators”) and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, assigns and agents and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win.
